OUR PASTORS

Pastor Chad Spencer, originally from a ministry family, was raised in the town of Big Flats, New York. After seeking out a degree in Criminal Justice, unsaved and unsatisfied with the trajectory of his life, attended 3 back to back mission trips in the Summer of 2011. These trips sparked a flame on the inside of him that was ignited at the Uproar Conference - a youth and young adults conference held in the North East - where he answered the call to full-time ministry. Pastor Jade Spencer hails originally from the city of East London, in the beautiful country of South Africa. Also from a ministry family, she like Chad had no plans to step into full-time ministry until she encountered the Lord at 15 years old and knew she needed to use her gifts and love for teaching to serve Him in a full-time capacity. Unbeknownst to one another, 2013 would be the year they met as first-year students at the River University (formally River Bible Institute) in Tampa, Florida.

In 2015 they graduated their third year, earned their Bachelors and celebrated by getting married and hand in hand began pursuing the next step God had for them. The past 8 years they have spent in Upstate New York where they began as young adults and outreach pastors to then serving as campus pastors of a thriving campus location in the college town of Ithaca, New York.

Throughout their time serving on staff, they faithfully stewarded another man’s vision, being fully convinced that the time was coming when the Lord would give them their own work to run with. In 2022 the first words were written to pen the blueprint for Legacy Church: a church that was called by God to see the city of Bradenton saved and our great nation changed.
